Cleaning / Restoration

There is currently a delay of over 3 months for carburetor restorations.
Is your carburetor preventing you from fully enjoying your classic car? Excessive consumption, misfires, stuck choke? Is the pollution during the technical inspection barely within limits?
Before replacing it with a new one, have it restored. This way, you can rediscover the joy of going on weekends, on holidays with your classic car, or return to VHC circuits, VHRS rallies, or historic hill climbs.
A classic car is meant to be driven.
Simply send me your carburetor(s) for restoration with a description of the symptoms.
I offer my cleaning/restoration package.
We start with a complete disassembly, then micro-blasting cleaning. The parts then go through different detergent baths in an ultrasonic tank to thoroughly degrease and deep-clean them. The jets also receive a special bath and return like new.
Next, the usual checks such as the play of the spindle(s) (bushings or spindle replacement are extra), verification of the gasket surfaces which are rectified if necessary, checking of the jets and their diameters, float test and adjustment. ..etc...
Then reassembly with new, quality gasket kits (resistant to unleaded fuel, unlike vintage kits) directly from the carburetor brands. Regardless of whether it's Weber, Dellorto, Solex, SU. Whether it's DGV, DGAV, DGEV, DFE, DFM, DCOE, DCOM, IDF, DHLA, DCB, DCD, ICF, ICH, IDF, IDA, H4, H6, Hs4 or Hs6, PPH, etc...
Pricing for a standard intervention, excluding delivery, excluding spare parts (in the case of a faulty automatic choke, for example) and gasket kits which have a specific price depending on the carburetor model.
2026 Rates:
-Single barrel carburetor: €100
-Double carburetor or Twin-barrel carburetor: €150
-Hourly labor rate (extra): €25

Possibility of reassembling with bichromated screws (or other parts). But the delay will be longer for special orders. Whether for road use, track days, racing, rallies, VHC or VHRS.
