Weber 42 DCNF

The Weber 42 DCNF is a vertical dual-barrel carburetor belonging to the family of Weber carburetors used on sports car engines in the 1970s. Designed to deliver significant air and fuel flow, it was fitted to various high-performance engines, notably some Maserati engines, as well as iconic vehicles such as the Citroën SM and the Aston Martin DBS V8.

This carburetor was also used in preparations and competitions, notably on the Ford Capri Group 2, where its performance and adjustability made it a suitable choice for sports engines.

Valued for its precision and robustness, the Weber 42 DCNF is still sought after today for the restoration and preparation of classic engines. Like other Weber carburetors, it has numerous adjustable components such as jets, needle valves, floats, and adjustment screws, allowing for the carburetion to be adapted to the engine's characteristics.

The exploded view of this carburetor makes it easy to identify its various parts and quickly find the necessary component for the maintenance or restoration of this model.
